In response to the devastating wildfires that affected our local community, our January gathering shifted into a healing focused Town Hall centered on care, connection, and collective response. The event created space for LGBTQ+ community members and allies impacted by the LA wildfires to come together, share experiences, access vital resources, and begin navigating next steps together.

The evening centered on collective healing and mutual support, offering space to connect, reflect, and find steadiness during a time of disruption and loss. Attendees were able to access resources from local organizations providing essential items, free services, and guidance, including legal and insurance support, crisis care, environmental impact information, therapy sessions, and movement based offerings such as dance and yoga.

Above all, the gathering served as a space for community building, reinforcing solidarity, care, and hope as our community continues to recover.

The Town Hall was moderated by @miss.carlaibarra of the LA Civil Rights Department and hosted by @chanelandthecircus and @themissmarquez.
